Capt. Ryan

Capt. Ryan is truly are a remarkable charter captain, this was my second charter with him. This time around I brought my long time friends for a guys weekend. I consider Capt. Ryan the “King of the Snapper Fishing” as his techniques are something you will not on Sportfishing T.V show or magazine, best yet he will teach you every detail about his style of fishing during the trip. On this trip my friends and I caught a box full of quality Mutton Snappers. Ryan made it easy using ultra light rods matched with the best reels on the planet! Would highly recommend him for those wanting to target big groupers and snappers. We will be back for Grouper season!

We brought my son down for a fishing trip at the beginning of September. Ryan was great and wanted to make sure we went home with fish even though they weren’t biting well this particular day. Ryan was very knowledgeable as to be expected and he is clearly passionate about what he does and taking care of his customers. My son reeled in the largest fish of the day and had a blast. Thank you Ryan for a great trip and all the time you invested prepping. We appreciate you. Oh we also got to meet his wife, Melinda at the end of the trip. It was a nice bonus since we have spent time listening to her podcast and it’s always nice to put a face to the voice. Both lovely humans.

recently did a full day charter with my son-in-law and six year old grandson with Capt. Ryan and it was a wonderful fishing experience that our grandson will never forget and he can’t wait to repeat. Captain Ryan is not only a truly professional fishing guide who puts you on big fish but has the “good karma” disposition that makes your trip a truly enjoyable experience. He’s worth every dime he charges for his professional services. I have used a lot of professional guides fishing in both Alaska & Florida and Capt. Ryan is one of my favorites and will have my repeat business for future trips. The effort that Capt. Ryan made to ensure the fishing trip was enjoyable and fun for my grandson was admirable and made the experience a truly memorable day on the water. Capt. Ryan runs a very clean and safe boat equipped with a boat stabilization system that makes fishing even in a moderate chop a very comfortable experience for even those of us who tend to get sea sick easily which makes all the difference on choppy days. Your safety and comfort are always a priority when fishing with Capt. Ryan which is a great comfort when out on the water. Will soon be booking another trip with Capt. Ryan to introduce my wife to Florida Keys fishing. Great fishing, great memories. 👍 ya

Back with Good Karma a couple times the past week and as usual was a great time and an excellent memory. Tried first day for Wahoo (I never caught one, and even though not a good day for them I wanted to try) still is exciting hunting but unfortunately no hookups. Saw more bait and flyers, turtles, dolphins, … ended up dropping for a couple mutton as we came across a good spot so dinner still served! Went out again for an afternoon with my 83 year old father. Capt. Ryan was very accommodating, and tailored the fishing to us and the day. We killed the mutton, and we had a great time. Ryan is always explaining what we are doing, what the fish are likely doing, and how we are getting hooked up! The knowledge and experience pays. I am going to remember this Charter forever with my Dad. Thanks Ryan great day, got 5 more weeks here, we will get that crafty Wahoo yet!

Captain Ryan has become very special to our family! He takes such incredible care of us and always fights so hard for the best day on the water. My 13 year old son Max is really the fisherman in the family and when Ryan takes Max out, He’s not satisfied unless they’re catching big fish! He’s extremely knowledgeable and has shared so many tips and tricks with Max, he takes a lot of time to educate which Max loves. We have worked with several fishing captains and Captain Ryan and Good Karma are really unique and special experiences because of how knowledgeable Ryan is. Max talks about getting back to Captain Ryan’s boat pretty much daily. Whenever we are in town we always schedule a trip and have the best day. Looking forward to the next one!
